Friday was an extremely hectic, but fun, day for testing my cupcake designing skills!!!!!!!
As promised here are pictures of the cupcakes created for the 2 birthday parties on Saturday 27th July.

Toppings on all cupcakes are edible.

I waited with baited breath to see what the 8 year old boys thought of my Ben 10 designs and sighed with relief when they loved them and said they tasted great too :-)
Designing cupcakes for a special little girl provided a balance to the boyishness of Ben 10 and I loved adding some edible glitter for that extra magic!  Her mum thought it was 'a lovely personalised gift'.

My gift boxed hand crafted cupcakes speak for themselves! 
However, put the icing on the cake by adding a handcrafted greetings card and together they can say  'Thank you' , 'I'm sorry',  'I love you'.  
Either way, they shout... 'You are special'.

Hi everyone, just a quickie!

Just wanted to share.........

I had a lot of fun making it for my grandson to give to his nursery as a leaving gift. He's off to big school in September!

I am currently putting together a price list. It will include my cupcake range and current available gift boxes, along with offers for when you buy a cupcake/s and card set. So please take a look :)

A very sunny hello to everybody reading this and welcome to my blog.

Since my adventure at the open day at Busy Bees nursery and my gift boxed Pirates and Princess cupcake order. I have had 2 more orders and I would love to share the pictures with you.

A huge thank you to those who have invited me, so far, to share in their special moments with my cupcakes and cards. I am really enjoying taking part!

I will be sharing more pictures soon as I have an order for 12 Ben 10 cupcakes for an 8th birthday party, 6 in balloon design gift boxes. 

 I also have an order for 4  friendly fairy gift boxed cupcakes for a 4th birthday gift. 

However, my biggest project to date is a secret at the moment shhhh,  so I can not share the details, but I will be sharing pictures later on so watch this space.

Back to the sketch book now to plan for Ben 10 and the fairies, I love this part too :)

Pirates and Princesses

Hello to the sunshine again, I hope you enjoy my post today as I certainly enjoyed creating the cupcakes for it!

My latest challenge was to design and create 23 single gift boxed cupcakes for my grandsons 4th birthday party. It was fantastic fun to do.

Using gift boxed cupcakes in this way says thank you to your guests for coming to your event. It is fun and different and can be used instead of or alongside your goody bags.

The children at Tristan's party were very excited to be taking home their pirates and princesses which made me very happy indeed!!!

Busy Bees open day adventure

 

Hello sunny people, what a glorious day for my first adventure with Cupcakes 'n' Cards at the Busy Bees Nursery open day. It was such a lot of fun and the whole day was a roaring success!!

All of my 55 cupcakes and my 24 bread rolls sold, plus several of my hand crafted cards. At one stage I even had a queue at my stall!!  I was given lots of positive feedback regarding the taste and look of my cupcakes and some business cards were taken away. I even had an enquiry regarding catering for children's parties. It was really encouraging to receive such interest so a huge thank you to everyone who supported me on the day!!!!

I am looking forward to doing many more events, so watch this space! 

These pictures were taken at 3am on Saturday morning following the baking and decorating, the reason being that we only arrived back from the Isle of Wight on the Friday afternoon. Phewy!
